Susanne Friedrich studied Graphic Design and Photojournalism in Boston where she initially worked as a commercial photographer of weddings, portraits and performances. Always interested in experimenting with alternative techniques, she began to photograph at night in 2001 and started using a modified Holga to make night images in 2002. She has exhibited her images in various galleries and venues in the Bay Area and her work is held in many private and corporate collections in the US and Europe. She makes a living as a Web Producer and Graphic Designer in San Francisco.
